Coach Andrew is a native to Raleigh, playing high school and AAU basketball in the area. He went on to play collegiately for the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill Junior Varsity team for two years. Once finishing, he was brought on as an assistant coach for the JV team his final two years of college with Coach CB McGrath and current UNC head coach Hubert Davis.

After graduating college, he spent six years working as a basketball skills instructor, coaching youth athletes from elementary kids who were just picking up a basketball for the first time to high school kids preparing for their upcoming seasons.

While instructing basketball, he found a passion for preparing athletes for the physical component of the game, learning to blend weight training and explosive movements needed to help increase an athlete’s vertical jump, agility, strength and overall physical preparedness.

Coach Andrew is a certified Strength Coach through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, holding the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification.
